Cradle Ceremony

This weekend, my family and I had the pleasure of being invited to an Indian "Cradle Ceremony", one of the Dr's at work is the very proud Grandmother of this baby boy, who unfortunately is not the star of my photos, despite the night being all about him, once the ceremony was over he was whisked away to sleep while the rest of us were treated to traditional dancing, singing and food. It was a fascinating night and I was in awe of all the culture, colour and joy. I didn't go with the intention of being a photographer, but I wanted to share some of my snapshots from the night :)

This week I got to photograph another lovely lady on her birthday! Hope your birthday was fabulous and that Andrew spoilt you rotten :)

Birth and New Life {Gold Coast Photographer}

At the end of 2008 I had the total privilege of photography a beautiful home birth for a friend, it was an amazing experience and I was so excited to be included in Bee & Steve's amazing day. I also had the joy of going back when their little man was 3 days to do my 1st real newborn shot, he was such a good baby for me and a total pleasure to photograph. I'll be putting a call out soon for a few free newborn session so, so be sure to check back in February!
